Join me for a playful, hands-on Art Hearts workshop where you’ll create your own original doodles and transform them into one-of-a-kind earrings you can actually wear.
No drawing experience is needed. Seriously. This is about loosening up, playing with color, making marks, and turning your own creativity into something bold and completely personal.
During this 2.5-hour workshop, I’ll guide you step-by-step through the Art Hearts process, from your first doodle all the way to your finished earrings.

What you’ll do
You’ll start by creating freeform doodles on special art paper using colorful markers and supplies.
Then you’ll choose the sections of your artwork you love, trace your heart shapes, laminate and cut your designs, and attach them to pre-cut wooden heart blanks.
 
From there, you’ll turn those pieces into wearable art using earring hardware, beads, rhinestones, and other embellishments.
 
You’ll have examples and inspiration to work from, but your earrings do not have to look like anyone else’s. The whole point is to make something that feels like you.

Who is this for?
 
This workshop is beginner-friendly and designed for anyone who wants to make something creative without worrying about being “good at art.”
 
You do not need to know how to draw, make jewelry, or consider yourself artistic.
If you can doodle, make marks, pick colors you love, and be willing to play, you can make Art Hearts.
 
Recommended for ages 12+.

This public workshop will be hosted at Sober AF in Tacoma, a fun alcohol-free space serving creative mocktails and other beverages.
 
Drinks are available for purchase during the workshop, but there is no required drink minimum.
